Art Baer (September 17, 1925 (New York City) – September 17, 2006 (Los Angeles, California)) was an American writer of the 1960s and 1970s. He wrote for such comedic television shows as Car 54, Where Are You?, Hogan's Heroes, Get Smart, The Odd Couple, Chico and the Man, Alice and Happy Days. He was also a producer, as well as a writer, on The Love Boat.
He was also, with Ben Joelson, the creator of the Canadian game show It's Your Move.
He died on his 81st birthday, on September 17, 2006, from cancer.
