Freddy is a fictional character who appeared in the Hogan's Heroes episode, Monkey Business. Andrew Carter brought him back to Stalag 13 after finding him in the forest when the zoo he was living in got destroyed by a bombing. Hogan and his men decided to have him be a mascot and Peter Newkirk thought it'd be funny & cute to dress him up in some of Louis LeBeau's old fatigues. He was played by a Chimpanzee.
